Terrorism Hits Home

I just learned last night that on Wednesday of this week, a van full of explosives was parked outside of a federal building here in Springfield. The suspect used his cell phone in an attempt to detonate the explosives, but fortunately was being watched by federal agents and was arrested on the spot. This case is linked to a terrorist threat in Dallas, but supposedly not to the ones in Denver and New York City.
I’m slightly freaked out that the van of explosives was parked 3 blocks from my office.
